Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Chesterbrook PTA.

The quality of education at Chesterbrook, staff support, and wrap-around enrichment programs depend on supportive parents/guardians who share their time and talents with this community. In this day and time, we are often pulled in many directions - when pulled towards the PTA you are investing in your child and leading by example.

Children with involved adults experience documented benefits; better attendance, more success academically, better socialization, and better grounding for a lifelong love of learning. Volunteer with the PTA today - there are many wonderful and impactful opportunities.

Please consider volunteering for one of the open positions listed below! The two positions that need your help the most are:

Summer Quest Co-Chair | Organizes curriculum and is parent PTA liaison for Summer Quest

Fun Fair Co-Chair | Coordinates and delivers our spring carnival fundraiser

  • Before & After School Co-Chair | Help to shape and support the enrichment program

  • Kickball Kickoff Committee | Support our chair in coordinating our kickball event

  • Webmaster Support | Provides support to the Webmaster

  • Book Fair Committee | Breakfast and books

  • Nominating Committee | Receives interest and puts forth recommendations for nominations to officer positions

  • Audit Committee | Completes mandatory end of year financial audit across 2 days in the summer at fiscal year end

  • Odyssey of the Mind | Parent coordinator

  • Family Fun Nights | Coordinates our monthly family fun nights including content creation and program delivery

  • Family Fun Night Co-Chair | Assist with coordinating monthly events
