| New Payment Process for Website Purchases
We are switching effective immediately to a system that allows payments on the PTA website to be made directly with debit and credit cards and will no longer require the use of PayPal. If you have any problems, please contact webmaster@chesterbrookpta.org. Thank you!
Rising Kindergarteners Playdates
Contact kinders@chesterbrookpta.org with questions for our Rising K Playdate coordinators. You may sign-up for the Rising K email group on the Newsletter Sign-up link to the right or during Orientation. We will coordinate several playdates on the school playground or Linway Park during the summer.
Summer Quest Classes - Registration Now Open Summer Quest is Chesterbrook's day camp for rising K to 7th grade students from any school held over 4 week-long sessions in July and August. To register click here. To see all offerings, view the reference table and full catalog here (as registration goes forward, some camps may be no longer available and will not appear in the "purchase" screens on the website when they reach maximum enrollment). Registration is not final until you complete a emergency contact form found here. The form should be submitted to the Summer Quest office at Chesterbrook Elementary in hardcopy. You need one form per child registered.
PTA Memberships -- You can still join!
Join the PTA by purchasing memberships! Please provide us with your grocery store club card numbers (Safeway, Harris Teeter, and Giant), and we'll register your card for you so your purchases support Chesterbrook. Reminder: at the completion of your order, you will see a screen with "Order complete. You should receive a confirmation email with your order details. Thank you." If you do not reach this screen and receive the email, your order is not complete.
PTA Directory Information
Don't forget that the school has made a PDF of the recently completed Family Directory available online through Blackboard. Here's how to access it:
- Login using your Parent View account or your child's account.
- Click on (one of) the student name(s). If you are using your student's account, you will skip this.
- Click on "Chesterbrook Specialists," not the student's grade level.
- You'll find the Family Directory under "Parent Resources" at the bottom of the lefthand menu. We plan to update this periodically, so if you find something in error (sorry!), contact the Directory Committee.
All PTA members receive a free copy of the Directory, but anyone may purchase an additional copy ($5 members, $8 nonmembers) by clicking here. If you haven't completed your Directory update form, please contact directory@chesterbrookpta.org right away.
Changes to Website Purchases
Due to a labor-intensive system, ongoing collection problems, and technical problems, the PTA will no longer be accepting personal checks on orders placed through the website. We will accept checks at onsite events such as the Book Fair and Open House (for school supply kits and PTA memberships).
